What We Believe

The following are the core beliefs of Bethel United Pentecostal Church based on the foundational truths taught in the Bible. All of our teaching and ministry is rooted in and flows out of these Biblical doctrines.

God

We believe the Bible teaches that there is only one true, ever living, eternal God, infinite in power, holy in nature, attributes and purpose, and possessing absolute, invisible deity. The One true God has revealed Himself as Father, through His Son in redemption, and as the Holy Ghost, by emanation. This one true God manifested Himself in the Old Testament in various ways; in the Son while he walked among men; as the Holy Ghost after the ascension.

Salvation

We believe in the Bible standard of full salvation, believing on the Lord through repentance, baptism in water by immersion in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and receiving the baptism of the Holy Ghost with the initial sign of speaking with other tongues as the Spirit gives utterance.

The Church

The Church is meant to be the visible body of Christ, sent into the world to glorify God and proclaim the gospel of Jesus Christ.

The Mission

Bethel United Pentecostal Church is a Christ-Centered Apostolic congregation founded upon the infallible Word of God.

Our mission is the same mission Jesus gave his followers: To make disciples of all nations.

We do this through prayer, the Word, personal involvement, and fellowship. We encourage every individual to passionately follow, serve and grow in Christ.

The Vision

The vision of Bethel United Pentecostal Church is to create a community of authentic believers and to witness a city transformed by the life changing reality of the gospel, as people come to know Jesus as their Lord and savior.
